illusory Hollywood …

real life behind the curtain of illusory hollywood.
2 days reportage and i almost saw as much poverty as in third world country.

like bob marley said:
You see men sailing on their ego trip,
Blast off on their spaceship,
Million miles from reality:
No care for you, no care for me.

the american dream …

a portrait series of homeless people in santa monica, los angeles.
it was never i my interest to make any profit out of these pictures, so i declined every request to sell them.
my worst nightmare would be having an exhibition with some art fuckers,
drinking champagne and watching pictures of poverty.
the stories their faces tell was actually the reason of my spontaneously decision to go out at 4 am and do it.

by the way, there are approximately 90.000 homeless people in l.a county.
